Milad is examining how to improve the efficiency of two-phase heat exchangers. These Devices are seen in many systems, from water purification, to car batteries, to life support systems for space missions. In a series of experiments in microgravity in the fall of 2020, Milad had investigated how a shearing airflow can facilitate condensation of water from moist air usingf European Space agency’s microgravity flight facilities.
