Ahmed Azzam is a PhD candidate at SEiL. He obtained his BSc (2011) and MSc (2017) from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, one of Egypt’s most prestigious engineering schools. Ahmed was among the top ten students in his class (Ranked 5th) with honour (grade: 80.1%). His MSc research was an experimental study of the combustion of fuel/air mixtures passing through elliptic swirlers. The main purposes of his Master’s degree were to increase combustion efficiency, increase flame temperature, and enhance the mixing between the reactants. He started his PhD in Jan 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Amirfazli and Dr. Kempers.
