Pierre Lesbats is a PhD student at SEiL. He obtained his engineering degree from ENI of Tarbes, France (2021). During his Master’s, Pierre focused on the simulation of deformations during the additive manufacturing process. Currently, his research area is on the impact of insects on surfaces. His goal is to understand the mechanisms during the impact in different conditions and at different velocities to explain the phenomenon involved during the impact of insects on aircraft wings or a car windshield.
